Product Description:

Discover a four-person FPS where together with a group of friends you will have to face a post-apocalyptic world full of zombies.

Find a way to survive

Dive into a fascinating co-op survival game set in the same world as The Walking Dead comics and TV show. Fight human-eating zombies also recognized as “Walkers” who are strolling around like they own the place. In such a cruel and devastated world, all you need are survival skills you can use during the daylight and at night. Unite with your friends and try to return safely from the extremely dangerous zombie wilderness.

Teamwork makes the dream work

Overkill’s The Walking Dead invites you and up to three other players to team up and collaborate with during your survival adventure. You’d better learn how to cooperate with others because one single mistake can cause your death! Your four-person crew features talented members that possess different skills.

Meet Ayden, Heather, Maya, and Grant, survivors that aren’t afraid of anything! Heather was once a kindergarten teacher. She was teaching children where the border between good and evil lies. Ayden, who was an architect, simply took care of mass extermination of zombies.

Grant seems like a nice grandfather who loves to tell stories to his grandchildren. After the world collapsed, he went to look for his granddaughter and nothing will stop him from doing it. And who suffers the most during the zombie apocalypse?

Of course, the doctors... Once a surgeon, Maya now will use her doctor skills for self-defense. Each member of your squad has a specific role to play, defined by their skill tree and playstyle.

Explore post-apocalyptic America

The game is set in the ruined Washington DC struggling with a huge zombie problem.

Carefully conserve your ammunition while exploring surrounding areas and feel the unsettling vibe of omnipresent zombie hordes. Overkill’s The Walking Dead features brilliant gameplay filled with action and brutal fights. You’ll have to carefully plan your actions if you want to scrape through another day uneaten by a horde of deadly Walkers.

Various murderous weapons to choose from

Change your weapons during the gameplay in order to achieve desired effect. If you’re playing as Heather, for example, you’ll want to swap tactically between your crossbow, your axe, and your sidearm.

The crossbow is slow but effective and quiet at range. The axe obviously requires no ammo and is gruesome as hell, and in tight spots your sidearm will do the trick against the larger group of walkers. At least until it runs out of bullets.

Your crossbow, on the other hand, fires bolts that can be retrieved from your fallen enemy. During the apocalypse, your crossbow truly is your best friend!

Keep a sharp eye out for traps!

Overkill’s The Walking Dead gameplay features various abandoned buildings with all kinds of booby traps such as bear traps and tripwires. These traps are placed procedurally in appropriate spots, ensuring they won’t be in the same place every time you rerun a mission.

Human enemies

Unlike the sluggish walkers, the human enemies of The Walking Dead can use guns, co-operate, and shout unpleasant things at you. They’re also much more vigilant than zombies, so if you want to survive, you’d better stay quiet.
